The evolution of LUCHIAN CRIS
From school events in the 1990s to clubs, private events, YouTube mixes, remakes and original productions.
The first contact with DJing started in 1994, when Luchian Cris began playing music at graduation events for eighth-grade students while still in sixth grade. Between 1994 and 1996, this early period continued across several general schools in the Gheorgheni district of Cluj-Napoca.
In 1997, Luchian Cris started playing music for high school events across Cluj-Napoca, including freshman balls, graduation parties and graduation events organized by different local high schools.
In 1998, Luchian Cris began playing music at Club K1 in Piața 1 Mai, Cluj-Napoca. From 1999 to 2001, he continued as a DJ at Disco Sun in Cluj-Napoca.
Between 2001 and 2005, Luchian Cris was active as a DJ at Euphoria in Piața Muzeului, Cluj-Napoca. From 2005 to 2011, he continued at Avenue Fever. In 2009, he also played at After Eight, and between 2009 and 2010 he was active at Club Midi.
In 2011, Luchian Cris performed at Club Prime in Sibiu. From 2012 to 2017, he continued at Club Space in Cluj County. Between 2018 and 2021, he appeared occasionally as a guest DJ at London Pub in Cluj-Napoca.
In 2012, Luchian Cris also began working in the private events scene, a direction that continues to the present. From 2022 onward, the focus shifted mainly toward selected private events.
Production Journey
The production side started in 1999, experimenting with Dance eJay and Hip Hop eJay. In 2000, the process moved toward Fruity Loops, now known as FL Studio.
After stepping away from music production in 2003, Luchian Cris returned in 2012, creating music for different artists and releasing material under the Luchian Cris name.
